Restoring your quality of life - highly aesthetic long-term results
A 4-quadrant restoration always means restoring the quality of life of our patients. Our Dental Competence Center Berlin Mitte sees itself in the best sense as a manufactory for the development of highly esthetic and sustainable results by means of restoration with high-quality all-ceramic dentures. A 4-quadrant restoration or any necessary bite elevation is a correspondingly complex process which, in the long term, will result in real quality of life for you as a patient and therefore justifies a certain investment. Our experts will advise you transparently and in detail on the costs and complexity of the necessary treatment steps.
Treatment with 4-quadrant remediation
Teeth wear down over time - often due to grinding, poor eating habits or inadequate oral hygiene. The result: aesthetics and bite suffer. Many people then wish to have their teeth restored. In such cases, a so-called bite lift or a comprehensive restoration of all four quadrants may be necessary. The entire dentition is considered holistically and treated sustainably on the basis of careful findings.

Treatment procedure with 4-quadrant restoration
One step at a time
Treatment as part of a 4-quadrant restoration is always individualized in its individual steps or duration. The holistic therapy concept of our practice in Berlin creates the ideal conditions for this. We offer the necessary different methods, techniques and therapies of modern dentistry from a single source - if necessary, we also call in highly specialized external specialists.

Who should have a 4-quadrant renovation carried out?

Whether it's fear of the dentist or simply a lack of time to take care of regular dental health: There can be many reasons for worn teeth or damaged dentures. The result is often inflamed gums (periodontitis), older or discolored plastic fillings, poorly fitting dentures or untreated gaps between teeth. A disturbing red-white aesthetic, i.e. a lack of visual harmony between teeth and gums, can also impair dental aesthetics. In addition, years of substance-damaging lifestyle and eating habits can cause continuous wear and tear on the teeth, resulting in a lowered bite with jaw dysfunction. People in service and consulting professions or people in public life are particularly dependent on an appealing appearance with an attractive smile as a personal calling card. Discolored, worn teeth or an abraded bite with unsightly or even invisible teeth can quickly become a major, if not existential, problem.
Turning back the clock
In this group of people, there is often an urgent desire to turn back the clock and have a comprehensive dental restoration carried out from midlife onwards. True to the motto: Fit and beautiful in the second half of life. Your specialist Prof. Dr. Andreas Olze has been advising and treating patients for many years with regard to complete dental and denture restoration. In addition to the perfect, aesthetic and type-appropriate external appearance, the functional, sustainable restoration of the dentition is one of the most important treatment goals for him.
Counterproductive and substance-damaging habits -
Do you know this too?
The cause of worn teeth and dentures that literally show signs of increased use is, on the one hand, simply the proverbial ravages of time, because in middle age, permanent teeth have already been in use for 40 to 50 years. However, lifestyle habits that have been practiced for many years and are detrimental to the substance can exacerbate aesthetic and functional problems or cause them to come to light at an earlier age.
Your personal treatment and cost plan for worn teeth
After a detailed diagnosis, you will receive a detailed treatment and cost plan that summarizes the necessary treatments or therapy steps for the entire treatment period and quantifies the expected costs of prosthetic rehabilitation to the best of our knowledge and belief, including bite elevation if necessary. In exceptional cases, there may be deviations depending on the course of treatment, which may also affect the costs.
Initially, however, the treatment and cost plan provides a very good overview so that the patient can get an idea of the individual costs of prosthetic treatment, possibly in conjunction with bite correction. Unfortunately, it is not possible to give lump sums because bite elevation as part of a 4-quadrant restoration is individual and different for each patient.
How much does the restoration of an abraded denture cost?
The costs of a 4-quadrant restoration or bite lift are made up of three parts:
- Dentist's fee
- Material costs and
- Laboratory costs
Some of the costs are covered by the statutory health insurance funds. However, they only pay fixed cost subsidies within the framework of so-called standard care. This is the simplest form of care. More aesthetic solutions and gentler treatment methods or improved digital diagnostics are unfortunately not included - despite their proven advantages. Some or all of the costs for these are billed privately. Some examples of such dental services with private cost sharing are
